Life on the road. It
is always exciting. You never know what
the day will look like and pray it is for the most part, uneventful. We pray for our car to stay safe, little to
no traffic, no construction hold up, and no poopy diapers right after a stop (TMI? J). We generally get where we need to go with no
trouble (praise the Lord!), but on occasions will sit in traffic for an extra
hour or two which is always a blast when you have a 16 month old who does not
want to sit in her car seat….
Mark and I love road
trips! We love to travel, so put us on a trip across the U.S. and we are pumped!
This trip has been especially fun for us
because we have gotten to see old friends, old co-workers, family, and our
sending agency. God has provided a place
for us to stay at each location and we are so grateful for that! We have gotten
used to waking up in one state and going to sleep in another. It’s kind of fun, but does throw Emma off
her schedule a little bit. J
As most of you know we have a goal to be funded by November
20th so that we can be leaving for Kenya soon after
Thanksgiving. Because of this we have
been on our 'Tour de Funding' trip for a week and a half now and so far the Lord
has been faithful. We are continuing to
trust Him and His promises. He’s in control
and we are so thankful for that!
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." -Ephesians 3:20-21
** We have all been battling a little cold the past couple days and would appreciate prayers for health. Thank you!
