Kenya

Kenya is a beautiful country and the people are so hospitable and amazing! It is a land of adventure, many struggles, but at the same time full of joy, hope, and possibility.

Kenya has a population of approximately 47 million people.  It is estimated by the Joshua Project that Kenya has an unreached population of over 5 million.  3.6 million children are orphans,  17.5 million lack safe drinking water, and 31.7 have no sanitation services. Over 10,000 children die each year in Kenya because of diarrhea from lack of safe water and poor sanitation.

Reading those statistics can be overwhelming.  We know that our family going alone cannot make a difference but by joining Jesus in the work He is doing we believe that lives can be transformed!

In Kenya we are partnering with a local organization called God's Grace for All Nations.  GGFAN is a local ministry in Nyahururu, Kenya. Our partnership with them involves working with their children's home, Home of the Good Shepherd, and street children program, joining local pastors to share the Gospel through discipleship-making and storying with the 22 unreached and least-reached tribes in Kenya, and helping to provide clean, sustainable water for surrounding communities.
